McKay out of World Cup Team for Injury

Australian right-arm fast bowler Clint McKay is suffering from left foot injury. Recently the doctors said that he would need an operation and takes 10-week time to recover. It is a shocking news for Australian Cricket Board.

McKay took 27 wickets at 19.59 in ODI matches in 2010. Australia ranked as no.1 in ODI. They are looking forward to win World Cup 2011. It will be fourth World Cup win in a row.

Cricket Australia will declare 15-man squad for World Cup next week.

''Obviously his workload over the past two years has been a lot higher - he's played for Australia, he's played some cricket in England as well - but he's been good considering the workload he's had," Victoria's physiotherapist Thihan Chandramohan said in The Age.

McKay was signed to Mumbai Indians for $US111,000 to play in the IPL series.
